Eowave Eobody2 HF is a wireless sensor interface. HF stands for "high frequencies". This interface is composed of 1 transmitter and 1 receiver. The transmitter enables to connect 16 sensors which can easily be place on dancers or inside objects or instruments. The receiver is directly connected to the computer via USB. The architecture of the system is 1 transmitter for 1 receiver. It is possible to connect 16 receiver in the same area for a total of 16x16 sensor inputs. The distance range between the transmitter and the receiver is 30 meters indoor to more than 100 meters outdoor.
Eobody2 HF has the same processing architecture core than the other Eobody2 interfaces. It is delivered with a free editor which enables to process the incoming signals to get the best response from the sensors and adapt it to the environment.
Note that the transmitter comes in a box, but can be placed in a soft pouch designed for dancers. This soft pouch is in option.
FAQS
Can I use my Eobody2 USB8 Sensorbox compatible sensors with the wireless unit? When designing the Eobody2 wireless unit, the choice has been made to use 3 pins connectors for sensors as the 1/4''jack were too big to be carried on by dancers or intergrated in objects. To use your jack sensors, you will need to adapt your sensors with a jack to 3 pins adapter (see accessories section). You can also build your own adapter with the tutorial "Build a jack to 3 pins connector". Note that most of the sensors are also available with 3 pins connectors.
