Redondances is a digital/analog stereo 4 tapes head creative delay with two analog multimodes filter and analog feedback path. Inspired by classic BBD delays and early 80's units it is almost fully CV controllable.
With continuous samplerate control, this module invites you to explore a wide range of sonic textures, from vintage echoes to futuristic soundscapes.
Weird and warm:
Continuous samplerate control: the speed pots allow you to change the sample rate continuously from around 5Khz to 50Khz. you can see it as the speed of the tape on an analogical delay. You can sync it to external clock with different sync modes.
Size the heads: each delay units has two heads reading and writing on its buffer. You can choose the size of the buffer these head will read from really small size to create Karplus strong effect to long size.
Wild feedback: Unlike most of the delay, the feedback loop is analog, meaning it goes to a crossfader made with analog VCAs to mix between the two heads per sides, then thru a multimode analog filter and goes back to the delay input. This give this delay a wildness in the sound no other delay has.
Freeze it: each delay units has a freeze with differents modes ( back, forward, reverse) to freeze your sound.
Cv control everything: pretty much everything can be controlled, from the feedback crossfader to the filters cutoff, the freeze or the size of the heads…
Self Patch it: A ramp output a ramp relative to the first delay head. With this, you can create filter sweeps relative to the avancement of the head or be more creative
Connect all: you can inputs different things on each tape head or have the output of each tape heads separatly
